Lorentz symmetry is a fundamental piece of modern physics.

However, this cornerstone principle has yet to be thoroughly tested for the gravitational interaction. Motivation to this study comes mainly from three fronts: from a theoretical perspective, General relativity cannot be the definitive answer to gravity since it is incompatible with quantum mechanics; from Cosmology there is the is the elusive question of Dark energy and Dark matter after applying our current laws for spacetime physics; lastly, there is the question of characterization of Lorentz violations in gravity.

Thus my research work has been focused on developing tools to understand Lorentz violation’s signatures within the gravitational waves emitted by binary black holes, testing thus the high-curvature and highly dynamic regime of Einstein’s equations.
